Meridian Defense Apocalypse Series: Pestilence with FRT
The first of four models in the limited "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" series. Building on the legacy of the original "Pestilence" rifle, this next-generation model incorporates all-new USA-made MDC 100 Series components for improved performance and craftsmanship.

Precision-Built Components: Romanian military surplus parts replaced with MDC 100 Series parts, machined in-house for tighter tolerances and superior durability.
Upgraded Barrel: Cold Hammer Forged (CHF), chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel replaces the former black nitrided option, for exceptional accuracy, heat resistance, and barrel life.
Adjustable Gas System: A fully adjustable gas block allows fine-tuning for suppressed or unsuppressed use.
Classic Aesthetic with Modern Upgrades: Hand-refinished "Apocalypse" wood furniture, battleworn finish, and iconic MDC engraving — but under the hood, it's a whole new beast.
Enhanced Performance: Chambered in 7.62x39 with U.S.-made internals for reliability, accuracy, and versatility in demanding conditions.
TRIGGER
This rifle ships with a forced reset trigger (FRT) installed by Copperhead USA. Every FRT-equipped rifle is test fired for function before shipping, so it arrives with rounds through the barrel and light carbon in the action. This is a new firearm - the rounds fired are solely part of the trigger function check, not prior use.

- Optics Ready Side rail mount compatible with standard AK optics mounts, enabling easy attachment of scopes and red dots
- Gas Tube Ultimak M1913 Picatinny gas tube, providing a modular rail for accessory mounting
