Now retired by Cabot - the Apocalypse® is a fighting handgun built around a deeply-etched stainless Damascus steel slide - as durable as it is striking. Cabot's proprietary Heritage Finish brings out the intricacies of the aggressively patterned steel while shielding the parts with a rock-hard exterior, and front and rear angled cocking serrations highlight the surfaces. Like a fingerprint, each slide's pattern is unique. It began as a one-off commission for a client, but the concept was too good not to replicate.
The martial spirit doesn't come at the expense of the fit and patinaed finish Cabot customers expect. For pairing with a reflex optic, Cabot engineered its own optional mount that sits low on the slide and co-witnesses the dot with the iron sights - as your eyes align with the sights, the illuminated dot becomes unmistakable.
