CAT SR A2
The SR is a limited release .22LR suppressor platform originally launched in 2024; engineered to deliver exceptionally high suppression from a compact; lightweight form factor. Designed around maximum efficiency; SR set a new benchmark for sound reduction relative to size; while maintaining durability through additive manufacturing.
The original SR/A1 configuration featured a serviceable design with a removable end cap for ease of maintenance and long-term performance; and full compatibility across both pistol and rifle hosts. In 2025; the platform evolved with the secondary launch of SR/A2.
This second version is a refined; single piece construction developed to supersede both SR/A1 and ALLEYCAT 22. SR/A2 consolidates the performance characteristics of its predecessors into a monolithic architecture; improving structural rigidity; consistency; and longevity while retaining the exceptional suppression the SR line is known for. The result is a cleaner; more robust system optimized for modern .22LR use without compromising weight or balance.
The SR platform; culminating in SR/A2; represents CAT’s highest expression of compact rimfire suppression. It is purpose-built for .22LR applications only and not compatible with 5.7mm systems.
