The DUTY 5.56 from Liberty Precision Machine. Holistic signature reduction requires moderate gas blowback and sound to the shooter; while maintaining a high level of muzzle sound suppression. A simplified version of LPM’s Torch 5.56/6mm silencer - the DUTY 5.56 - achieves a much lower price point and smaller size for budget-minded shooters who are willing to tolerate slightly more back pressure and gas blowback. Tuning of the host weapon is recommended.
Note: LPM highly recommends against the CAT SPOOKY 1 flash hider as it results in premature baffle wear and excess flash out of the silencer. No other muzzle device tested by LPM has displayed these characteristics.
