Product Overview
Crafted from solid walnut; and built around MDT’s proven aluminum micro-chassis; the TIMBR CORE rifle stock offers old-world style with a modern backbone. The V-block bedding system locks your action into place with zero guesswork; no bedding; no gunsmith. Just torque it down and shoot. From whitetail woods to weekend ranges; TIMBR CORE delivers the warmth of wood and the repeatability of metal.
Every TIMBR CORE is crafted from solid walnut; so the grain; color; and finish are 100% unique. Inside the smooth walnut exterior is an aluminum micro-chassis with V-block bedding. That means precise action fit; no flex; and repeatable groups; every time.
Ergonomic cues from MDT’s chassis systems; like refined grip angles; LOP spacers; and improved geometry; make the TIMBR CORE more comfortable to shoot; without losing the classic look and feel of a wood stock.
Wood naturally dampens felt recoil; giving you a dead-stable shot. That means spotting your trace; staying on target; and making faster follow-ups. It fits heavier barrels with an oversized forend channel. Integrated sling studs let you run a bipod or carry strap with ease; whether you're hiking in or setting up prone.
The TIMBR CORE stock has been subjected to extreme testing for durability; including 15,000+ rounds of simulated live fire; exposure to 100% humidity via salt bath (for several days); -20°C deep freeze (followed by more live firing); an 80°C heat test; drop testing from 4+ feet; and sling stud tear-out testing.
No bedding or custom work required. Drop in your action and bottom metal; torque the screws; and get to the range.
