Product Overview
The OCM6 is a 6mm bore OPS/AE pattern suppressor in titanium and Inconel, second generation to the OCM5. A DMLS 3D-printed Inconel core inside a machined titanium tube brings it in 24% lighter than the original OPS 12/AEM5 - 5 oz - with no loss of strength and better erosion resistance.
The real change is backpressure. The OPS 12/AEM5 and OCM5 are exceptionally quiet at the muzzle, with backpressure as the one drawback. The OCM6 trades a little muzzle suppression for less port pop: from ten feet away, the OCM5 sounds quieter - behind the gun, the OCM6 does. The whole design is aimed at the shooter's experience, in both sound and gas management.
The 6mm bore also opens the suppressor beyond 5.56 — 6 ARC, 6 Dasher, 6 Creed, 243 Winchester — and 5.56/223 still runs. Existing OPS/AE and OCM5 mounts are all cross-compatible.
