SBR WITH CS1 COLLAPSIBLE STOCK
The PTR 9SDM-B is a factory-configured; semi-automatic 9×19mm short-barreled rifle that integrates a collapsible stock and suppressor into a single; cohesive system. Sold as an SBR with the PTR CS1 collapsible stock and the new Vent SDM suppressor installed; it delivers a compact MP5-pattern platform optimized for suppressed operation from the start.
The specially-engineered slots in the barrel’s rifling grooves port off gas; reducing supersonic bullet velocity to subsonic. This design also prevents bullet-jacket damage; minimizes fouling; and allows far easier cleaning than traditional SD firearms. The ported gas flows into the 9SDM’s pre-suppressor; which PTR calls the USDA (Universal SD Adapter). The USDA is designed to capture and slow high-pressure ported gas before it enters the suppressor. For increased modularity; the USDA is threaded to accept both HUB Alpha and HUB Bravo suppressor thread patterns.
The 9SDM-B includes the new purpose-built PTR VENT SDM suppressor (threaded HUB-B 1.375-24). The VENT SDM suppressor was designed specifically for ultimate sound suppression when paired with the 9SDM. The VENT SDM is manufactured using 3D-printed titanium; utilizing innovative Purposely Induced Porosity (PIP) technology; and protected by a DLC coating. The VENT SDM excels at reducing sound signature and back pressure while preserving the balance and smooth recoil of the 9SDM.
The platform also features a full-length Picatinny rail; Removable M-Lok® forend; metal MagPul® backup sights; and an extended charging handle (threaded to accept most Remington 700 pattern bolt knobs). The 9SDM represents the next evolution of the SD platform; engineered for shooters who demand the highest level of performance without compromise.
