Product Overview
Every Area 419 one-piece mount is final-bored as a matched set with raw aluminum internals - a grip on the optic that is more true and more reliable than anything else on the market, and robust without unnecessary weight.
Bases and caps are machined in batches. Most manufacturers send those parts out to anodize and then simply assemble them; this process adds steps on the back end. After anodizing, each mount is fully assembled, placed into purpose-built rail fixtures, and torqued to spec over custom spacers that leave the rings room to clamp down on the optic. Sets are then final-bored, brought off the machine together, QC'd, and packaged.
