The PDP Pro ACRO is an optimized version of Walther's renowned Performance Duty Pistol and comes outfitted with multiple upgrades and a factory-installed Aimpoint ACRO reflex.
The Aimpoint ACRO is equipped with several design features to ensure its durability; reliability and versatility surpass typical duty requirements. It utilizes a fully-enclosed design; making it impossible for rain; mud; dust and other debris enter the optical channel and interfere with the path between the LED emitter and reflective lens. This enclosed design also seals the electronic components into the body; eliminating the threat of water damage. Additionally; the ACRO P-2 features hardened front and rear glass lenses to better protect the internals; and the sight will remain completely functional even if these protective lenses are shattered.
The PDP Pro ACRO itself retains many features of the original PDP. The trigger has been upgraded to the flat-faced Dynamic Performance Trigger; offering a significant reduction in trigger weight; take up; and reset. Another improvement of the PDP Pro ACRO is an aluminum magwell to promote fast and intuitive reloads. The PDP Pro ACRO's slide also comes with Walther's Superterrain Cocking Serrations to deliver fast and responsive slide manipulation even when wearing gloves.
In addition; the PDP Pro ACRO performs with hair-splitting accuracy – this is largely thanks to its trigger as well as a unique stepped chamber. The forward portion of the chamber is slightly tapered; perfectly centering the projectile as it enters the rifling; which enhances accuracy considerably.
